Shinde may say sorry for 'Hindu terror' comment : thanks to bjp

NEW DELHI: Home minister SushilkumarShinde, who is also leader of the LokSabha, is likely to express regret for his "Hindu terror" comments to the main opposition BJP in a bid to ensure smooth functioning of Parliament.

According to BJP sources, Shinde may express regret in Parliament when it opens for the budget session on February 21. BJP had taken offence to the minister's remarks, made at the Congress's Jaipur 'chintan shivir', and had decided to boycott Shinde unless he apologized. This could have posed serious problems for the government in the House as the finance bill has to be passed.
