नीचे लिखा गीत नव वर्ष बधाइयाँ गीत है , मेरी टायपिंग ठीक नहीं है , इसलिए सिर्फ एक पंक्ति लिख रहा हूँ .

नव संवत मंगल मय हो , जन जन का भाग्य उदय हो ,

what is the difference , if we celebrate the gregorian, western new year or hindu new year ?

in my view , if we believe in our old traditions, relegion, culture , scripture, god, devata, then this matters, otherwise, nothing matters.

when ever we do vedic puja, we have to speak date according to the indian calander, our all festivals are according to the hindu calander.

but still if you think this is outdated, impractical, rotten traditions, then sure you can be right. so it means , it is important, on the basis of what is important in your thoughts.
